Our LIT program is available for rising 8th and 9th graders in our day camp, and rising 9th and 10th graders in our overnight camp. This program offers teens a chance to participate in their favorite camp activities, while working directly with camp leaders to better serve our community.

Counselor in training

training, spiritual growth, lifelong friendships and great times!
Our CIT program is designed for teens that want to build
leadership skills while learning what it takes to be a great camp
counselor. Our program is available as a three-week overnight session for rising 11th grade campers.
We believe these youth are
the future of Camp Weaver. Therefore, they are encouraged to work
together to learn the skills needed to become positive role models,
in both our camp and the community.

- Ability and desire to work with children.
- Willingness to develop counselor skills.
- Willingness to accept responsibility.
- Desire for a first, or repeat, summer camp experience.

CITs may choose one session to attend. Each session includes 3 weeks of overnight camp.
 Fill out an application - Obtain 2 letters of reference
- Complete a one-page essay on why you want to be a CIT at Camp Weaver and what you have to offer our camp.
- Receive signed permission from a parent or guardian to participate in our CIT program.
- Upon acceptance, register online.
