YMCAs and its facilities are here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. The YMCA is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone. We are committed to ensuring that every community member has the opportunity to participate in camp activities.
We strive to serve the entire community by providing financial assistance, which is determined by individual applicant needs. This program is possible thanks to the many generous donors who support the YMCA Camp Weaver — 100% of donations made helps to support kids and families in our communities.
Financial assistance

Financial assistance is granted based on the need demonstrated by household income and/or extenuating circumstances and is on a sliding scale.

Financial Assistance at YMCA Camp Weaver can be applied to summer overnight camps, summer day camps, or summer leadership programs.

  • Financial assistance covers one of the following per camper: ONE session of Overnight Camp, TWO sessions of Day Camp, or ONE session of Leadership Camp. This limit helps us serve as many families as possible.
  • Financial assistance can only be applied to APPROVED sessions. Families who enroll in sessions not listed below will be charged full price.
  • Please apply for assistance before enrolling.
  • The application period runs from September 1 to December 31, 2026.
  • Applications received after this period will not be considered for the current season and will not remain on file for the following season.

Day Camp

  • Session 1: June 14-18, Superhero
  • Session 2: June 21-25, Out of this World
  • Session 3: June 28-July 2, Splish Splash
  • Session 4: July 5-9, Wizarding Week
  • Session 5: July 12-16, International
  • Session 6: July 19-23, Hollywood
  • Session 7: July 26-30, Wild West
  • Session 8: August 2-6, Rock the Camp

Open Doors Financial Assistance Program

Deeply rooted in our community, it is the mission of the YMCA to make our programs and services affordable for all. Programs are available to all regardless of age, income, ability, race or religion. Based on available resources and sliding scale eligibility, the Y will not turn anyone away due to an inability to pay full fees. Our Financial Assistance Program provides assistance based on need through an easy application process. Much of the financial assistance money shared are made possible through the generosity of those who donate to YMCA Camp Weaver.

To apply for financial assistance, please fill out the online application or download the application (español) and provide the supporting financial documents (español) to the YMCA Camp Weaver. The YMCA will process it and contact you about your rate. Please make sure to use the checklist (español) to ensure the quickest possible evaluation of your application. The deadline for the 2027 financial assistance application is December 31, 2026.
